After the success of our Part 1 post, we thought it was time to share some more of your Doors Open Days experiences. This time we’ll be sharing lots of fantastic photos, as well as some blog posts and articles!

The University of Edinburgh College of Science and Engineering shared some great photos of the King’s Buildings Doors Open Day on their Facebook page. Lots of buildings were open, including the Ashworth labs, the Grant Institute, the Joseph Black building and even a sneak peek of the FloWave Wave and Tidal Test Facility. See the photos here.

The International Centre for Mathematical Sciences welcomed around 200 people on their open day. There were mathematical card tricks, an arithmetical version of Scrabble, and lots of other puzzles and games like a Penrose tiling puzzle shaped like chickens! Read their blog post here and view all the photos from the day on their Flickr page here.

Flickr user Steve shared some great photos of his visit to St Bernard’s Well as part of 2013’s Doors Open Days. We love the shots of the beautiful mosaic work which decorates the well. See all the photos on Steve’s Flickr page here.

Alison visited BBC Scotland as part of Doors Open Days and, as well as being able to see famous locations recognisable from “on the telly”, she even came across an escaped cyberman from Doctor Who! Read the blog post here.
